Reviving Evangelism in the
Next Generation
Part Two!!
Please join us for another Free Luncheon Workshop on Thursday, March 3, 2022 • Noon-2 pm
St. Andrew’s Church • 440 Whilden St., Mt. Pleasant
Jordan is coming back!
Jordan Biere has been leading local youth ministries for over 10 years and is passionate about serving other youth ministers and leaders to see even more young people discover and develop a relationship with Jesus. He sees that the challenge for many youth pastors/
directors is how for them to not only engage Gen Z but how they teach others from different generations to engage Gen Z as well. Youth Ministry can’t just be in a “silo” apart from the overall congregation and their families.
Last November 4th, many of you attended our free luncheon workshop with Jordan Biere, the National Director of Alpha Youth for Alpha USA, as he discussed the Barna Research on reaching Gen Z. If you weren’t able to attend that session, we hope you will be able to attend this one!
Jordan wants us to truly feel the Gospel opportunity in front of us. He will review some of the key points from his original presentation (four core principles — real, relational, reproducible, reliant) and facilitate discussions where you, as practitioners, can work through challenges, dream up ideas and collaborate on reaching this generation together. As has been said many times, we all come from different backgrounds and denominations but what we have in common is far more than our differences — the desire to see our young people develop (or further develop) a relationship with Jesus!
It all starts with reliance on prayer and the Holy Spirit, so there will be opportunity for prayer time for each other and our ministries, and realizing the power that the Holy Spirit brings.
St. Andrew’s Church, Mt. Pleasant, 440 Whilden Street in the Old Village
