Reviving Evangelism in the
Next Generation
On March 3, Jordan Biere, National Director of
Alpha Youth for Alpha USA, joined us again for a workshop on the Barna Research on Gen Z. He reminded us of the four core principles — real, relational, reproducible and reliant. Providing specific tools to help, he also led discussions on how we not only reach this generation but how we can encourage them to reach their friends.
Often youth ministry operates in a “silo” at the church and it’s critical to involve our whole congregation in reaching our youth. We ended the session as Jordan prayed over everyone and then encouraged the participants to pray for each other.
